Well Done Bears!

The Bears completed their second Class Wide Reward Chart last week! They chose their reward to be having an extra playtime in the Juniors yard. We had lots of fun playing football, climbing tress and looking at all the Autumn colours in the sunshine! Keep up the good work Bears.

Walkley Playground Project

Parents! If you have a free half hour or so on Friday morning, or you're already joining us for the Golden Book assembly, please stay for a short presentation and discussion about our Walkley School Playground Project. 

Our outside provision for play is in real need of improvement and there are exciting plans underway to begin to transform the playground areas around the school. 

But ( there's always a but...), we need your ideas, inspiration, support and fundraising efforts.

 Mrs Hansbury and Mrs Jinkinson will be very happy for you to come along THIS FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER at 9.30am.

Welcome to Bears Class!

Well done to Bears Class for completing their Class Wide Reward Chart and getting to 100! We voted on which of our treat activities we would like to do and on Friday afternoon and decided on a DVD and pop corn treat! We all voted and decided on 'The Little Mermaid' which we thoroughly enjoyed singing along to! Keep up the good work! 
                                   

2013 - 2014 School Year

Walkley Primary School will open on Tuesday 3rd September 2013 for the new school year.

Bear's Show!

Children in Bears Class decided to make their own show and practised at their playtimes, they then performed this to everyone in the hall. What stars well done Bears!

Maths Workshop

We had a maths workshop on Thursday, two lovely ladies came to deliver a fun maths session which we all enjoyed!

I have had a wonderful 7 weeks in the Bears class. You have all been so friendly and made me feel extremely welcome. I am taking lots of lovely memories with me and I have had an amazing time teaching you all about pirates!

I will really miss you all but hopefully I will see you all very soon. 

THANK YOU  for being such a wonderful, lovely and kind class.

As the Bears have been so good, we had a ten minute treat at the end of the day. It was a fun afternoon and a lovely end to a perfect placement!
