Bears class thoroughly enjoyed designing and making their own superhero character and costume. We each explained our powers and practised being superheroes!

Do you like our fantastic super outfits?

P.E. session

Bears class showing off our hockey skills!

In PE we have been working super hard to improve our hockey skills. In yesterdays lesson we used a hockey stick and ball to dribble around cones, all of the Bears held the hockey stick appropriately and we all had a really fun session!

Snow Day!

**School Closed**

I hope that everyone in Bears is having a fun day in the snow and keeping safe and warm! Can you draw a picture and write about your snow adventures to share tomorrow? I'm looking forward to hearing about who has been sledging or built a snowman or even a snowbear!!

A very beautiful and snowy view from my house today! Can you spot the icicles?

Nativity DVD

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you for coming to see and supporting our Nativity last Friday.
We had an amazing turn out of adults in such horrible weather.  In case you missed it you are in luck!

We have recorded our Nativity onto DVD and will be selling copies for £5 in a full DVD case designed by one of our artists in Gruffalo base.

This year it also has separate chapters showing the Elmers, Seashells, Anansies and Bears singing.

If you would like a copy please contact the  class teacher by Thursday 20th December so they can be made in time for Friday 21st December.

Thank you

Our Trip to St.Bart's

We walked down to St.Bart's church where Kinder and his team sang songs with us. We played a special game of pass the parcel to tell the Christmas story. Thank you Kinder!

There was a layer with special paper, one with newspaper,

a plain layer,

                                               one wrapped with stars,

new baby paper

and then some presents! Can you remember what each layer was for? A Class Wide Reward for anyone that can!

While Shepherds watched their flocks...

We made sheep from different materials for our shepherds. Now we are all ready for the nativity performance on Friday-we can't wait!

Christmas Lunch

WOW

What a fantastic Christmas Lunch we had today!
Roast Turkey (or Quorn) with all the Christmas trimmings.
All the adults in KS1 helped out today, and then we all sat down to have Christmas Lunch together!
